For the best fried vegetarian dumplings you will ever have, go to Seabay in Pitt St. For lunch you will need to arrive bang on 12 noon as the joint is jumping by 12.05. For inexpensive, interesting Chinese, go to Kensington Peking on Anzac Parade @ Kensington. The salt & pepper tofu is heavenly as is the vegetarian fried riced. They also do great Shanghai handmade noodles.
