  1. Mother’Restaurant is by far one of the most outstanding places in New Orleans for real good cheap food. Try the Ferdi Special, if you want cheese with that then it’s called a Ralph. Side of homemade potato salad and a bowl of Turtle Soup, your all set. Better be real hungry, you have to save room for a piece of Sweet Potato pie. Your good to go for the whole day, if you can move.
