Hello
Am a resident of Mumbai. I think Golden Star is pathetic for GUjarati Thali. The best place is Thakkar BHojnalaya( Which means Thallers Eatery) , it serves the best Gujarati Thali. Also, you havent mentioned Bade Miyan , a street Kebab joint and Ayubs. They both are in COlaba and are one of the finest quality street food. TIFFIN is sucha lousy place. If one is looking for Gourmet Food at a Chef Run Resto than MOSHE’s is the Choice. THeir Pattisseries shall remind of the ones in Marais, Paris.
I second, TRISHNAS, absolutely fantastic…. was also on the nytimes list of places worth flying to for a meal by a gentleman writer who passed a way this past year. must get pepper lobster and their dhal.
YOU FORGET THE BEST RESTAURANT IN MUMBAI CALLED TRISHNA. ITS THE BEST SEAFOOD RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO AND THE FAVOURITE OF ISMAEL MERCHANT.
