i visited lonesome george & he is very old but he's still got it! the tour guide says he regularly has relations with two females (different species) and is quite active for being around 100 years old.
I am more and more convinced that hunters and poachers are the scum of the earth. I expect they will have quite a bit of explaining to do when they finally meet their maker. (If they meet their maker. They’ll probably be going elsewhere.)
The concept of Lonesome George is heartbreaking, an animal so ancient and awesome having to live out its years alone. However, is it just me or is there another of Lonesome George's kind right behind him in this picture?

its really sad to see these animals like this we nee to do something and no tputn them in a zoo. pu them in a reserv.
